Building "A New School of Thought"
Beginning this project called for intensive site work: a year-and-a-half's worth, in fact. To create a pastoral feel, many trees were kept and an existing creek was re-routed. The site also had to be built up substantially because of its location on the 100-year flood plain.

Facilities construction and landscaping was completed in less than a year to accommodate the school's plans. MCDR had the foresight to store trunks of the fallen trees, which were later recycled for the Memphis Zoo China exhibit.
